Clean Country Kitchen Challenge - Week 3

Week 3 UpdateClean Country Kitchen Challenge - Week 3

Moving right along on my Clean Country Kitchen Challenge – Week 3, went fairly well. I am still moving forward and have not given up!  That is what is important.  Well, I am a little late with my week 3 update for my Clean Country Kitchen Challenge, but better late than never, ha!  I just heated up my coffee, again, so I am ready to get down to business.  Keeping the dishes done and off of the counters (which is really what this challenge is for me) is not as easy as it may seem.  I have done pretty well over the last almost month at doing the dishes.  I left dishes on the counter overnight a couple of days, but instead of getting down on myself, I have stayed positive and moved forward.

Today’s Dishes

Today there were dishes out on the counter from yesterday (boo).  I kept them in fairly good order as we moved through the day, but they were still annoying to me (yea!).  I did wash some things as the day went on, but didn’t really finish up until this evening.  I was very proud of myself and cleaned up right after we had supper.   before going outside with Owen to enjoy the stars and lightning bugs.

Setting Goals

It is my belief that setting REALISTIC goals for myself is of the utmost importance.  So, tonight (ok, early this morning), I am planning, yet again, to stay on top of the dishes tomorrow.  Will it happen that way?  Who knows?  But the important thing is that I am pushing forward and continuing to change my bad habit into a good one!  I have so many more bad habits to change, so I have to keep my focus on this 66 days so I can mark this one off my list and move onto the next one!

Encouragement

If you are following along with me on this challenge, I encourage you to stick with it!  We will get there together!  I would love to hear how you are doing on your challenge as you follow along.  Do you have any special tips or tricks that you use to keep things in order throughout your day?  If so, please share!

If you missed the updates for Week 1 & 2 of the challenge, here they are!
