WOW – Women in Writing Blog Tour

I am honored to be participating in the WOW Women in Writing Blog Tour of B. Lynn Goodwin’s book, Never Too Late.  I was hesitant to participate at first since I haven’t read many books lately, especially relationship books.  However, I am SO THRILLED that I decided to join the tour.

Never Too Late is one of the best relationship books I have read.   Lynn’s writing style is a perfect fit for me.  I could not put the book down!

Never too Late Review

Book Overview

When reading Never Too Late I felt as though I were right there as Lynn’s friend, which drew me right into the story.  I truly enjoy Lynn’s open and honest writing style.  She shares intimate details regarding her and Richard’s time together, which is a breath of fresh air.  When she describes how she felt growing up and going to college, it is very easy to relate to her fears and thoughts about life.

Reading Never Too Late gave me a fresh inspiration to share my story with the world.Click To Tweet

When reading the parts about eating at restaurants and splitting food with Richard, I always found it humorous.  Also, when she described the differences in her and Richard’s food preferences, in general, was interesting to me.  I personally haven’t really experienced too much of those feelings.

I’ve been happily married since 2005 and my husband and I have similar food preferences and generally order our own food when we go out to eat.  I do love the way she incorporates these scenes into her decision-making process for the reader, however.

Inspiration to Share

Reading Never Too Late gave me a fresh inspiration to share my story with the world.  I am currently working on a Pregnancy After Loss Package, that I have decided I will complete and launch after our second rainbow is born (in the next few weeks).  I have a huge heart for women and families that have gone through pregnancy after loss, as my husband and I have (twice).  This time can be very stressful and people need to know that they are not alone.

I also have a huge heart to reach out to women and families that have gone through pregnancy/infant child loss.  Having lost our first child, I know firsthand the emotions and things that follow.  I feel that sharing Faith’s and our story will help others who must endure this most difficult loss.  I have started, and will now continue writing a book that shares this story.

Never Too Late

I strongly suggest reading Lynn’s book if you have not already.  You can get a copy of Never Too Late on Amazon.  It is such a beautifully written book.  You will not be disappointed!  I am reminded by Lynn’s lovely book that not only is it never too late for love, it is also never too late to follow your dreams in life.

Thank you, Lynn!  I look forward to reading your other work.

  2. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, Sara. This is awesome.

I’d be honored if you would post your review on Amazon. You probably already know this but
    1. Go to https://www.amazon.com/Never-Too-Late-Wannabe-Wife/dp/1633936082/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1511161467&sr=1-1 (cut and paste)
    2. Scroll down to Write a Customer Review and
    3. Cut and paste it into the space.

I’d love to see it there, and I’m so sorry about the pregnancy. Remember, though, it’s never too late — until the biological clock quits.

    • Hello, Lynn,
I just submitted my review for approval on Amazon. Thank you for your sympathy. That is so true. We are so thankful for our now 2 1/2-year-old, Joy and for our second rainbow, Hope, who will be born in the next few weeks.

I am honored to have you drop by my blog and hope you do so again soon. I would LOVE a guest post if you are ever interested and able.

  3. Sara, I’d be happy to write a guest post for you. Do you have a topic in mind?

I had not imagined you as being pregnant. Never been there myself, but lately I find myself talking to babies in restaurants and in line. They are so sweet and precious and offer so much hope. Big time congratulations and lovies to your little ones. =)

    • Lynn,
I do not have a topic in mind at the moment, but I can brainstorm a bit for you.

Thank you so much. Yes, babies are truly precious and offer so much hope. They are true blessings indeed. Thanks again and I will let you know what I think about a topic for a guest post. If you would like to browse my blog a little and have a topic you think may fit well, I am open to that as well.

      Blessings,
      Sara

    • Hello Lynn,
I just checked as well and don’t see it. I also didn’t see the e-mail confirmation come through. Maybe it didn’t go through. I’ll do it again now. Thanks so much!

      Blessings,
      Sara

    • Hello Lynn,
Amazon didn’t like a review that was my copied and pasted blog post. I guess they want it to be more focused. I will go in and do another one for you. Sorry for the delay.

      Blessings,
      Sara
